Taft partner Sonya Jindal Tork is pleased to have acted as legal counsel for Kingsley + Co. in securing unanimous Cincinnati City Planning Commission and City Council approval for rezoning of a 3.9-acre site in the Walnut Hills neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio from manufacturing to urban mix to facilitate the construction of a 182-unit multi-family housing development. The project is intended to address the critical need for affordable housing in Cincinnati, helping those making between 30% and 80% of the Area Media Income. Sonya played a key role, working alongside the development team, in developing and implementing the extensive community engagement to secure support from community stakeholders.
